In 1964, Kuljeet Sharma
came from her village with her two very young children to join her husband,
who didn't turn up at Heathrow. Then a man approached her introducing him
as his husband's cousin and offered her to take to Bradford by train.

Agrwal, a Hindi poetess and story writer, came to join
her doctor husband. The enthusiastic doctor turned up at
Heathrow with a procession of 20 bachelor friends who
have come to welcome their one and only Bhabhi ji in the
UK.
