Virendra Singh occupied top positions in the US
multi-national giant DuPont. After 35 years in the
US he returned to his village in Bulandshahr
district to open a remarkable vocational school
for the 'poorest of the poor' girls. They get free
meals, free education, free clothes and on top of
that Rs 10 per day and produce export
quality home furnishings. Singh has committed
$500,000, to this remarkable social
experiment. And that's his own money.
