In June 2003, NRIfm.com was set up by the former BBC Radio Editor and prominent NRI journalist Dr Vijay Rana. Internet then had hundreds of Indian web-radios but they could think nothing beyond Bollywood music.
NRIfm was to be the first talk radio dedicated to Indian politics, art, culture, history, sports and cinema. Even today there is hardly any richer repository of Indian wisdom and mind.
